SERIES8 miniature microphones by Point Source Audio
The black Point Source Audio Series8 CO-8WLh High-Sensitivity Lavalier Switch Kit (Lectrosonics) is a miniature mic designed to deliver a natural vocal sound for recording and broadcast applications including presentations, interviews, public speaking, and more. Featuring an unobtrusive mic element with only 4mm in diameter, it offers a discreet visual appearance and can easily fit behind a button of the presenter's clothing.
This version of the lav is equipped with a more sensitive mic capsule, which requires less gain and is optimized for broadcast applications. The Series8 CO-8WLh's omnidirectional polar pattern allows for a variety of mic placement options as it picks up the voice from all directions equally and doesn't need to be lined up with the mouth. The mic offers an IP57 rating, which protects it against water, sweat, and makeup, commonly harmful to microphones.
This kit configuration of the microphone includes a wide variety of useful mounting and wind-reduction accessories, some in multiple colors, along with two interchangeable X-Connectors: one with a 3.5mm TRRS connector for mobile devices, and a second with a TA5F connector wired for Lectrosonics wireless systems.

High-Sensitivity Version
- This version of the Series8 features a more sensitive microphone capsule designed for presentations, interviews, and broadcast work.
- The mic capsule can handle up to 118 dB SPL, sufficient headroom for standard speech levels.

- Mic element is only 0.16" / 4mm in diameter and easy to hide in a performer's clothing or hair
Omnidirectional Pickup Pattern

Interchangeable X-Connectors for Transmitters
- Modular microphone system uses X-Connector adapters allowing you to adapt the mic to work with different transmitters
- Included interchangeable X-Connectors feature a threaded screw that is simple to remove and remains securely in place
- Mic operates on 1 to 10V plug-in power from the transmitter
