The Countryman Isomax Headset Microphone is the original Countryman head-worn microphone, and a favorite for both speech and performances. The Isomax features a flexible boom for easy positioning, and the sensitive capsule features a wide 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response for full, clear audio reproduction.
The Isomax effectively rejects off-axis audio, minimizing feedback and residual noise. The flexible, adjustable band fits snugly and comfortably around the back of the head for concealed use on stage, during trade shows, speeches, sermons, etc.
A wide variety of colors and connectors are available for use with various wireless transmitters. This cardioid version is beige and features a Switchcraft TA4-female connector for use with Shure wireless transmitters.

Sounds Good, Too Heavy
Audio quality is good for this price, but the headset is heavy compared to newer designs. It is hard to keep it place and gets uncomfortable after long use.
It works
With a hearing on the left and a cochlear implant on the right and add glasses I can still wear comfortable the headset. The voice pick up is always the same. It works!

Great Headset
I have been using these for the last 5 years. They are very reliable and very sturdy, best headset I have ever purchased.
What it lacks in Flexibility, it makes up in Sound
Our worry about feedback with this style of microphone has all but been nullified by this high performing microphone! Sounds great in small and large venues. However, the frame is very rigid and difficult to form to the head.
Remarkable headset!
The Isomax headset is the best sound reproduction microphone for head worn gear. It captures your voice at full strength, including a whisper, and is perfect for live sound applications. It's easy to adjust for your head, and is comfortable to wear for long periods. This is money well invested!!!
strong mid-range mic
an excellent headset--we used this to replace a Shure that came in a wireless mic set and it's got a little more sensitivity and range for sure. I find it a little less comfortable than some, but the sound is excellent. Good for talks and performances
